Plant 3d to Revit

I am at a smaller MEP company as a VDC manager and we recently started fabricating for outside companies. One of the companies we are working with only creates content in Plant3d. However our fabrication software doesn't support Plant3d. Our current workflow is to completely re-create the packages in Revit, but you can guess how time consuming that can be. Not a big issue when there are only 20-50 assemblies, but our latest fabrication order came in with over 450 assemblies. With only a small team (4 detailers including myself) I am looking for a cleaner import process that can take me from the .pcf that Plant 3d exports and turn that into Revit fabrication parts. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Need to see if this is a common situation. I am an MEP BIM manager for a plumbing and mechanical shop. One of our upcoming projects is requesting us to run the coordination. Is it common for a subcontractor to have that role? I have only worked on projects where the general contractor runs the coordination.
