Advice on new bike

So I’ve had my eye on a trek domane al5 and finally pulled the trigger and bought one.

Walked into trek on Saturday, said I wanted a trek domane al5 size 54 I’m ready to put a deposit and put the rest on a 0% finance plan which I did.

The plan was to walk out the door with the bike there and then. They said I had to wait until finance company gave the A-OK.

Fast forward 2 days and I get a call from trek saying it’s ready to pickup.

I go into store (bear in mind it’s a 2 hour drive from me) and pick the bike up, didn’t look over it too much because I’m buying from the brand retailer thinking they’ll do their checks and make sure bike isn’t damaged even though it was one on the shop floor. I only agreed to the one on the shop dooor if I was taking the bike the same day as I paid the deposit which wasn’t the case. Bring the bike home and I see it has scratches over the bike.

I am on my way to Scotland tomorrow and I have just noticed that TISO (outdoor shop based around Scotland) have a sale on the trek domane al5 for £1125 (with the welcome 10% discount) whereas I paid essentially £1600 at trek.

Do I leave the new trek at my garage and purchase the one from Tiso on my drive up, or do I take the one I purchased and call trek on the drive up and see if I can get refunded for the difference? Has anyone had any previous experiences like this. Advice is much appreciated. I have until tomorrow (Friday) 1pm to decide.

One last question, are these standard tyres for trek domane al5? I heard they come with Bontrager tyres as standard, are these an upgrade or a cheaper tyre been put on?

UPDATE:

So when I called the trek store I bought it from, spoke to the manager there who at asked me to email in the pictures. After receiving the pics he was in shock that the bike was allowed to leave the store like that irregardless of me checking it over or not. He understood my situation of leaving for Scotland that day and not back for 2 weeks. He offered to let me use the bike for the 2 weeks, ordered me a brand new boxed up bike which they’ll have ready for me when I’m back. Just simply pop back, return this bike and take the brand new one, a sweet little store voucher and they also price matched the other bike store so refunded me £400. So all in all it has worked out, albeit I do have to make that round trip journey to trek

What model is this and how much is it worth

So I have been looking around and found someone posting a “Domane sl6” for £1100. No pictures (as he was on holiday) and no description. I said I would be happy to take it under the assumption it’s not stolen and I can check with the serial number checker. He sent me these photos a few days later. What do we think? What year and specific model and value would this bike be? Worth £1100?

Edit: I’ve not looked at the pics properly but yeah it’s an emonda sl6, is it worth the £1100 price tag ultimately?

Al5 vs SL5, £1000 difference

So I’m looking for my first road bike, I’m an absolute novice, want a comfortable ride.

Went to my local bike store and they have both models with a £1000 difference. Do I spend the 1k extra to get the SL instead of the AL?

Edit: the AL is in the standard black with white logo but the SL is in the sexy ivy smoke green
