sinus ct scan results
hi all! i’ve been having terrible sinus issues for the past month, just got my ct scan results back which state this as the key findings:
- Bony nasal septum deviates leftward, mid septal leftward bone spur contacts the inferior turbinate. Cartilaginous septum better assessed directly. Bilateral nasal turbinate hypertrophy.
- Chronic sinusitis with areas greater than 3 mm, right maxillary and to a lesser degree right frontal and left maxillary.
Opacified right maxillary sinus ostium and proximal to mid infundibulum.
anyone have any experience/ any idea what any of this means? or what ended up being your treatment? I don’t have an ent follow up until next week and the wait is driving me crazy! thanks in advance!
