sinus ct scan results

hi all! i’ve been having terrible sinus issues for the past month, just got my ct scan results back which state this as the key findings:

  1. Bony nasal septum deviates leftward, mid septal leftward bone spur contacts the inferior turbinate. Cartilaginous septum better assessed directly. Bilateral nasal turbinate hypertrophy.
  2. Chronic sinusitis with areas greater than 3 mm, right maxillary and to a lesser degree right frontal and left maxillary.
Opacified right maxillary sinus ostium and proximal to mid infundibulum.

anyone have any experience/ any idea what any of this means? or what ended up being your treatment? I don’t have an ent follow up until next week and the wait is driving me crazy! thanks in advance!

feeling worse after antibiotics??

hi all! i’ve been through the ringer for the past few weeks in terms of a an assumed sinus infection. I finally finished my antibiotics (cefuroxime axetil) along with a daily course of zyrtec-d, flonase and saline spray and now I truly feel like i’ve been hit by a bus. exhausted, full body aches and a headache/back pain that keeps coming and going. is this normal post sinus infection or do you think I need to go to the ER? no one has done any bloodwork either so I can’t help but think it’s been something else the whole time. tia!

sinus issues/ heart palpitations

hi all! i’ve been having weird issues for a few weeks and im being told its a sinus infection but want to see if anyone has had a similar experience. Started around three weeks ago with typical sinus pain, post nasal drip but then I was getting back of head/neck and leg tingling as well which definitely freaked me out! went to urgent care which prescribed me amoxicillin clav for five days and finally got in with an ENT who looked up my nose and said I had a severe sinus infection and prescribed a routine of cefuroxime axetil for ten days, flonase for 14, saline spray for 14 and zyrtec-d for 14. around tuesday of this week I started experiencing heart palpitations for hours on end went to urgent care where they said the ECG was normal and was most likely caused by the zyrtec-d and to stop that immediately (around day 6 of taking it) stopped that immediately and was feeling a bit better but now the heart palpitations have come back as well as the occasional headache. has anyone had a similar experience or do you think something else maybe going on? i’ve been to 4 doctors over the course of two weeks yet no one has even prescribed any bloodwork but I feel like i’m going crazy.
