I always imagined the approach to a battle jacket as something like a mixtape where I’d normally have no repeats.
I recall years back seeing a battle vest at a show with two Slayer patches on it and I thought, well obviously Slayer would be the exception.
This is my first attempt, a battle hoodie and I leaned into my idea that Slayer would supercede the ideas of rules and structure.
258 day run lost to a wolf bite. No bandages? WTH? Died making a bandage. One of THE classic ways to go for me.
This run was absolutely manic. So many double bear, moose, insane hijinks.
This death was so avoidable I can’t even deal with it. Wolf seen. Approached with intent to kill. Pull bow out at charge range. FIREHARDENED ARROW!?! Nbd, I’m very armored with many animal hide layers. Knife it in struggle, get bleeding condition and somehow Fido rips me up for 66% at least. RIP.
Spent the morning blasting Slayer and sewing a big patch on my hoodie. I’m looking forward to seeing 40 years of RIB! \m/
I just started a VTM 5E game. I’m playing a Toreador. Our initial session found us in a situation where a party got out of hand and there were some masquerade breeches and mortals injured. I suggested to the team that I’d stick around and talk to the cops, while they retreated.
Most of my team reacted negatively to my idea, suggesting that cops showing up would see a dead body and everything would be over. My contention was that unveiling my Awe power would cut to the bone of a mortal’s predispositions and allow me to navigate the narrative. (Allowing rolls or blood use).
Am I wrong? I was under the impression that any vampire with Presence can be quite convincing on their own, let alone when they “turn it on”. My vision was that their simple minds would be overwhelmed by the otherworldliness and be very susceptible to my suggestions.
(The group fled the scene as a whole, so we erred by n the side of caution)
There ought to be an achievement for losing Well Fed bonus while having food on you. I am so bad at this game. 😆

My longest run finally came to an end. 302 days. I was goating down by a mountaineering rope hook up in Ravine map. I was trying to find the entrance to Bleak Inlet.
I had a great line, looked like an Incan wonder, perfect tiers to land on the whole way down. I went to the edge and just died. Didn’t fall or anything, just got a message I died from a fall.
I’ll learn the route on a new run I guess.
