My son is 8 and loves to go to our local recycle center to look for potential things he can repurpose. Today was his biggest score with this old dollhouse. He did all the decorating himself with miniatures he has collected over the year. It came carpeted and wallpapered.
First larger form wheel thrown plate I’ve made. It was reduction fired at cone ten and I did a try dip of oribe, oil spot, and blue satin matte. Waxed each glaze so there would be minimal overlap.
Had a girls weekend on the cape and made us all hydrangea mugs for our morning coffee.
Slab built base with decoupaged underglaze decals, glossy white, fires at cone 10.
Took a break from wheel throwing and had a blast tapping into some fun, quirky … kind of creepy projects in my hand building class. This was supposed to be a platter but morphed into a sad little cloud.
Made some porcelain deviled eggs becuase why not?
