So we got the new eternal abyss and honestly from the few matches I have done on the map I like playing on it. With survivor gameplay on the map I find it to be better than it was on old eternal abyss though not by a ton.
I don't really have any strong opinions on the rework, I think the old eternal abyss was fine as it was though I think overall the new one is better.
To quickly go over the changes: they really didn't change too much but are good improvements. Main changes on maps just cut off area survivors could go. Frostbitten ridge had the bridge changed to have four ways to get in which honestly is a great change to the map, makes getting around easier. Ancient dungeon just had a big design change but not really a ton of changes with the map layout that I noticed.
Dead ends were also changed so there are less dead zones that don't really have anything which is nice.
(Best thing this update is the removal of map voting to be honest.)
Last note I didn't mention monster only areas since I have not seen them all so that's why I didn't mention them.
Now I find Fogborn feeling like they still need some buffs. This might not be the best changes for fogborn but I think they could work.
Impatience: How this passive works now just doesn’t make sense in my opinion. so all I would change would just make the meter fill up when survivors are looking at you.
Stamina regen: now I personally think fogborns regen should be a bit faster than what it currently is. Since he can’t regenerate while invisible I think it would be good if it was a bit faster.
Foggy Stare: now this is the main thing I think needs a buff or just a rework overall. My problem with the ability is that most of the time it just doesn’t work against people. Now if impatience gets changed to be when you look at fogborn it fills up the meter this ability would be better. Because i personally don’t like it I made a new ability (the quick drawing is a visual for it) Acidic spit: this is my replace for foggy stare and how it would work is that fogborn would charge up some acid in their mouth and can fire it out. If it hits a survivor they get stunned for a bit and it will leave a small mist around where the acid spit hit. The mist would give slowness to any other survivor who runs into the mist. The mist would only last for a bit and really is just here so if you miss hitting a survivor you still could slow them down a bit.

So we got the two new classes added to the game so here is just a pretty quick review over the two. (Also I will not mention the balance changes since they were either not that big and with Fogborn its just because I haven't used him enough to say how good the changes are.)
Spellcaster: The new support class that they added and honestly I find it to be much funnier to use than Auxilary. Spell of durability: The first ability they can use and its pretty good. I don't know the exact amount of defense given but it can be used on yourself and other players. Spell of regeneration: now this actually doesn't heal a ton. How it works is that you will have to hold down on a survivor and then you will heal them for 10hp (I think) than it will do some overtime healing. Once you use it you will take increased damage for a bit. Overall I find the class to be fun and not too bad to go up against though that could change.
Bladrunner: With my experience with this class its pretty fun to use. Energy dash: obviously this is the more worrying of the two ability's though with what I have experienced the slowdown isn't that bad. It is easy to hit in my though you can be killed while using it (could just be because of lag though). Steady deflect: now just to make it clear I am not good at parrying so I was not good at landing this though with seeing it be used it seems alright. Now I don't know how strong the healing is but it seems to be a pretty risky move to use and is very punishing if you miss.
Overall these two new classes are at least fun to use and once people get used to them they could get more annoying to deal with so we will see.
(Quick thing for fogborn :3) Honestly he seems a bit better but again I have not used fogborn enough to say if this a better change or not. Though the stare is harder to move away from at least.

So I’ve decided to try and make some lore for the vanisher just for fun.
To start: Vanisher used to be a low ranking demon (similar to how Rosemary and Vapor are low ranking demons). Vanisher’s powers were well being able to disappear (shocking). Though unlike them, Vanisher most of the time didn’t listen to commands given to them by high ranking demons.
Because of Vanisher not listening to orders, the higher ranking demons decided to remove vanisher’s powers and send them back to eternal torture.
During the removal of their powers, Vanisher used the what was left of their powers before it was all removed to make the two potions they use in game. Then with these Vanisher somehow was able to escape.
(Now something happens that leads to Vanisher being with the other survivors and having to go through the matches.)
Anyways that’s the basically the lore I made. I don’t know if survivors had lore already but this was just fun to make. So thanks for reading the lore :3
