Looking for classic math books

What are some classics that you would recommend for learning math? I like math that is related to aspects of life that have an effect on others. For example, the basic calorie demands for the average person, the consequences of not meeting them over long periods of time, etc. studying reality is interesting to me, and I’d like to cultivate that interest. Do you guys know some areas of math I could focus into?

My cat purposely marked where my chin is and next clamped my nostrils with his paw(happened several times)

I have two main coon cats that are brothers, the one named Chace is affectionate with hugs but his love language has never been kisses. The other one named Leo is less of a hugger( in fact used to hate hugs) but he’s always loved to kiss( and I mean he licks my nose and face excessively). As much as I appreciate what I interpret as a display of affection every night the kisses and “making biscuits” won’t stop for another 20minutes unless I put my head under the cover. Every night Leo will exhaust all options trying trying to get under the covers. So he will go to my head and either lay on face which almost always blocks my nose, or on he will mark where my chin is with one paw and immediately after push his paw down where he knows where my nose is in both cases I wouldn’t be able to breathe. They are both wonderful cats, but I just wonder what if I or someone wasn’t in the position to push them off, God forbid I had a baby that Leo do this too.
I can’t tell you how frustrated I was trying to see if this happens to other people only to find an entire sea of comments saying “it’s an old wives tale”, the overwhelming fixation on this idea is ridiculous. It’s as simple as this if your cat has smothered you he can smother someone else.
