Clavicus Vile and Barbas Redesign by me

Clavicus Vile and Barbas Redesign by me

YES, I have made Vile a "femboy" but hear my thought process for this redesign. Vile is described as immature and also big trickster, so I have wanted to play with "in sheep's clothing" phrase. Vile wants to trick people so he takes the form of something soft and innocent, the lamb, while in reality he is a wolf. Because of it he also looks young and androgynous, to look even more like a lamb. Also fun fact but I made all Vile's accessories, including mask, crook, jewelry and cloak out of pyrite, more widely known as fool's gold

In comparison to him Barbas is intenionaly horrifying. While Vile is very soft and white, Barbas is dark and sick looking. I made it intentionally to remove focus from Vile and make him even trickier because of it. Barbas also has human teeth because of it, to make him feel more uncanny. His ram elements are also here as "in sheep's clothing" motif.

Anyway, Vile and Barbas were very interesting to experiment and know it's time to move to "the kindest" Prince Molag Bal himself

Facial and skull structure differences between humans and elves

Just did quick study and speculative anatomy while I'm still working on Clavicus Vile's redesign

Peryite redesign by me

Artfight is over, so I'm back with those things!

Peryite was a complicated beast cuz I wanted him to stay similar to his official design. Also I didn't want him to look like a sick dragon covered in rot and pustules, because he is not the sickness for sickness guy like Nurgle from Warhammer. I instead made him a chimera of many creatures associated with poisons, venoms and sicknesses like mosquitoes, vultures, rats, snakes, etc. Which made him closer to nature and still fit to his sphere. Vulture head I consider the best decision, because vultures despite being associated with death and rot, prevent many diseases, which in my opinion show how Peryite is both the plague bringer and the healer

Anyway, Clavicus Vile is going to be next and I'm honestly afraid that he might recieve a controversial reaction

Sanguine Redesign by me

Drinking Buddy finally is here! Og Sanguine is one of my least favorite designs in the series, cuz he felt... not unique to me. Sure, he was very casual, which fits his character, but for example in Skyrim he had zero uniqueness in his design, he looked just like a regular Dremora

I wanted to save this casual nature but also make him more noticable (Because of it he was THE HARDEST to come up with so far, after Mora. Dude gave a lot of headache). His outfit is inspired by Roman culture, because of popularity he has in Empire

I'm doing Peryite next

Hermaeus Mora Redesign by me

T H E S Q U I D

If srs, I LOVE Mora's canonical design, so it's was hard to leave him similar to canon but also redesign him. I didn't want to stick with "blob with eyes and tentacles" trope and decided to make him more... uncomprehensible. His silhouette is a warped pile of many marine creatures. I wanted to give feeling similar to Rorschach's test. He is an ocean bottom and ocean bottom is him. He emerges from the inks, while emerging it himself, and of course, my biggest pride: His eye is a giant loop, with another ocean inside, with even more eyes inside, with their own oceans inside, etc.

I'm so happy to make him real, I hope you will share my happiness with me

Anyway, Sanguine is next

Meridia Redesign by me

Meridia is finished. This one had very fun time to come up with. The idea of star like head was the very first in my head, while colour pallette and outfit took some troubles. The gemstone crown and visage are inspired by Auroran's design, while fur on the shoulders is inspired by Ayleid Lich, to give her more connection to this lost race. I also did not want to add regular bird wings to her, cuz I didn't want to make her generic christian angel, so instead made her sleeves look like amix between sunrays and pycnofibers (primitive "feathers" that some pterosaurs had. I intentionally choose it, to make her more ancient and archaic looking)

Anyway, Hermaeus Mora have been chosen by random and I can't wait to start brainstorming this guy

Mephala Redesign by me

Mephala joins the gang. This one was the hardest to come up with so far, due to the pelvis structure. Yes, I know that this biology doesn't make any sence and should would not even be able to stand with it, but after all weirdness like that is what makes art fun to me

ANYWAY, The Wheel of Random has decided, so I'm doing Meridia next, but for now I'll do some side stuff, not related to this series

Boethiah redesign by me

And Boethiah is done. I wanted to give them more androgynous appearance, but also still leave the feeling of dark prince / warlord, so here, get big, muscular and thick Boethiah. If serious, the anatomy was the hardest thing to do, on the same level as the blade and the pauldron. I also forgot to write in the image that the bright green marks on the body suppose to represent the shimering scales

Anyway, I'm doing Mephala next to finish Dunmer sisters trio. After that the random will decide (or comments, depends on how many of requests will be)

Azura Redesign by me

The beginning the series of Daedric Princes redesigns. Had idea of doing those forever, because honestly I dislike some of Daedric Princes official designs (Sanguine and Nocturnal especially)

Plan to do more in the closest future, and evenntually maybe move to Aedric Gods as well

▲ 26 r/teslore

A bit of context: I'm thinking about the potential of TES city building simulator based on old videogame called Caesar III. I have been thinking about temples of divine and came to idea of making them function as some additional buildings as well, based on which divine it is built to. Rn I have some problems and so I invite you to theorize with me what functions they can have based on lore

Akatosh - ???

Arkay - Graveyards/Death Ceremonies

Kynarerh - ???

Jullianos - Education/Academies

Dibella - Art/Actor's School

Mara - ???

Stendarr - ???

Zenitar - ???

No Talos, because I think about setting it in the times of early Reman Empire
