Hii, so when applying for student finance some time ago I accidentally selected “law with professional placement” instead of just law and I was wondering if this would impact my loan or cause issues when I start. For context im supposed to start my first year soon and I do plan on doing a placement year but with Cardiff you don’t apply for that until your actually on the law course. Student finance has quoted my loan amount and everything seems fine so far but I don’t want to run into any problems.

Hey, what is the procedure for calling in sick when you’re on an opening shift the next day. For context, I’m not well as of today and I doubt I’ll be better by tomorrow morning. Do I call in now before 2? or message my manager? or both…? 😭

Hey, I know this seems like a silly question but when a certain manager is on shift he always tells me I should put my own name onto the till (via the computer) but every time I don’t get shown, and the other manager I have always puts everyone onto the till when she arrives so this isn’t a weekly occurrence. I only work weekends so the one time I was shown I’ve forgotten since then due to not having to do it for awhile. I just dont wanted to get berated for not knowing such a small thing every time I’m on shift with that person, so if anyone could tell me what to click on to access the till names that would be great 😭
