Popped into Greggs today and was pleasantly surprised to see that the red pepper, feta and spinach bake is back….
Lunch sorted for the foreseeable future…

God forbid a customer has to wait an extra 20 seconds between me getting their items and giving it to them, as some old lady has asked me a question at the till. Are people really that miserable/entitled?

Hi all, I’ve recently finished working at Greggs and I should still have one last payslip considering I worked almost 20hrs last week. I can’t log in to success factors or teams and maybe that’s because I don’t work there anymore??

Please can someone help? If anyone has the contact for the payroll team that would be great aswell as I can pop them a quick email. I haven’t been contacted by anyone at HR about this. My manager did say she sent a leavers form through last week so maybe that has something to do with it?

Realised the other day I never get asked this when I'm in Greggs anymore, did they do away with it?

pretty obvious title, i turn 18 tomorrow & was just curious if i’ll get paid an 18 wage since the payroll is after my birthday or if it goes off what i worked while i was under 18.

My manager is a very lovely and friendly and i hate confronting people but i work with my girlfriend at the same shop which we met eachother in and we told everyone we started dating but her and before i had told her we were on shifts together and even though we are both team members so we are aloud to be but ever since she found out she tries everything in her power to not put us on shifts together we were on one with her after she found out and my girlfriend was doing the tills and i said to her would you like to do the hot hold because you seem stressed out so we swapped and she got annoyed with the bbq bites meal boxes like folding them or whatever and my manager came over after i said to her whats up and i said ill do it and my manager shouted and said no im never putting you on a shift together again and i was like okay whatever and then she went to my supervisor/ shift manager and said that we were non stop flirting and that when i went over to her on the hot hold i was calling her darling and all this which i definitely did not we keep it as professional as ever my manager had absolutely no clue until i told her thinking she would be happy for us but she just said oh. She also dropped a baguette on the floor right in-front of me and picked it up and put it on the tray and then later on she used it so make sandwiches and she said “oops 5 second rule” and then she said we dont do that when the auditor comes in do we not and i was like no but honestly i couldn’t he arsed talking to her because it was so early in the morning. I also wrote a note saying that i would like Saturdays off because im currently working part time here and have been since late 2024 and im in full time education. I go to college Wednesday Thursday and Friday and then usually im working every single day after it and only being young its so draining and so i wrote a note explaining saying “ i will not be working Saturdays anymore as i have lots of exams coming up for college and my tutors are putting lots of stress on me and i have no time to revise.” And my supervisor wrote below it a snobby note saying im not working anymore because i cant be arsed which i thought was so cheeky and childish to do as she is 50 years of age i wrote this note because everyone else there has a scheduled day off that they know that they have where as i dont im the only one who doesn’t and i just thought it wasnt fair at all so i demanded to have Saturdays off as we have plenty of weekenders who can do them. But im not sure weather i should speak to and area manager about the situations because if me and my girlfriend were on shift it would be much easier as i drive and she doesnt so she has to get the bus and its just a pain i just wanted some opinions on what people think.

hi today i told my manager i need to go take my meds that im supposed to take every 6 hours and needed to get off the till to do so. he responded with ‘you could have told me this earlier and you don’t need to take them’ and proceeded to call me a liar hes also made numerous comments about my condition and health such as saying that my birth defect is because i dont walk enough and making comments about another team members illnesses to me and my other coworkers. im just wondering if this is a good enough reason to report him as i feel very disrespected. im also not sure what the number is to ring and report him. he’s been reported many times and nothing seems to be done about it.

Got a free Mexican Chicken Baguette reward at Greggs today and asked if they could heat it up, but they said they can’t heat free sandwiches. Is this an actual Greggs policy or just depends on the branch/staff member? Has anyone else had this with the Mexican Chicken Baguette or other hot sandwiches?

I am hired by greggs and I done all the training at home will I get paid for my training if yes so how muxh?

Genuinely curious if it’s just the attitude of my area.
Say for example, that someone comes in as breakfast has finished and there’s no bacon left. I’ve been swore at on multiple occasions by multiple people.

Sometimes working here makes me genuinely wonder like surely people weren’t raised to treat others providing you a service this way.

right so i called my store because its 3 hours before my shift is meant to start and i genuinely feel absolutely drained i don’t think i can do another 10 hour shift i know i sound like a whimp but omg my whole body hurts still so i called in and told them im not feeling great and it was someone i don’t recognise she said she was from another store but that she’d let someone know straight away for me i was gonna ask if maybe she could pass me on to a supervisor or a manager that was in store but it wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t have one until later we are that short staffed at the minute 😭 i’m just wondering if this is okay? can i go to sleep or what im not good at this i don’t really call in sick ever
