I just had a thought
Ok, I just had a random idea. What if humanity is actually the divided essence of The Creator?

I completed Amnesia the Bunker. It was my very first Amnesia game. After that, I tried playing the other four. I completed Amnesia Justine (and absolutely hate the final chase sequence), and recently completed Amnesia a machine for pigs. But for the life of me, I just can't get into The Dark Descent or Rebirth.
Does anyone else feel like this? I feel like The Bunker is my go too because, like I said, it was my first Amnesia game and it really left an impact on me, (And some Shell Shock difficulty trauma), but I also think that's ruined the others for me. I only completed Justine and A Machine For Pigs because I willed myself to carry on. Can't do that for TDD or Rebirth for some reason.
I just had a thought. In Reanimal, if you unlock all five coffins, you see the four ghosts of the children watching as the Sister goes into the barn, and it just triggered a thought in my head.
What if Sack, Hood, Bandages and Bucket are possessed by something?
Here's the timeline I've made in my head:
Four friends conduct the ritual -} four friends get found out -} Bandages and Bucket die in accidents, while Sack and Hood are executed for witchcraft.
Now this would leave the ritual incomplete, and the spirit that was contacted left stuck out of the bargain. And if the horror media has taught us anything, ritualistic debts MUST be paid. So what if the bodies of the children were possessed by something, maybe the spirit's minions, and their souls were trapped, forced to watch their bodies act independently and kill the Sister?
It would explain the Shadows watching the Sister enter the barn. I am a firm believer in the idea that the section after Sister gets eaten by the sheep is a flashback sequence, but the idea of these kids being possessed would explain why they didn't seem to hesitate, and why they survive situations that SHOULD leave them injured at the very least.
Maybe the Flood is punishment upon society for interfering in the ritual.
All in all, this is just my random opinion.
