updated OINP stream
Hey everyone, Hope you're all having a good day. I am facing a massive dilemma right now and could really use some honest advice from anyone tracking the recent immigration changes.
I'm currently working full-time in Ontario as a Security Supervisor (TEER 2). I have 3 years of straight experience, a 2-year college diploma, and great English scores (7,7,7,8). On paper, I perfectly fit Ontario's new TEER 0–3 pathway when it opens later this summer.
But here is my issue: I just got a full-time job offer for a construction role out in an Atlantic province. Now I am completely torn and confused about what to do.
What would you do? Should I wait it out in Ontario and see how the new system plays out this summer, or pack up and head East for the construction job?
If anyone has made the jump from Ontario to the Atlantic provinces, I’d love to hear how it went for you. Thanks so much for any insight.
