What explains the psychology behind denying gear use?

I was recently told by someone that there are a lot more people on gear than I realize - I usually give people the benefit of the doubt on these things. But when I compare today's 'natural' standards with those of top bodybuilders from 100 years ago, it's kinda hard not to scratch my head and think a lot of people online are possibly misleading others.

To be clear: I am not judging anyone and think most 'fake nattys' are extremely impressive and disciplined whether or not they use gear. I also find the speculation itself boring.

I just don't understand the need to lie. You still have a killer physique which you worked so hard to attain, why spoil it by lying?

What is the consensus opinion on resolving skinny-fatness?

I've been lifting for the last two weeks and I would like to know which way I should be headed. I really hate the pudginess / excess fat that comes from a 23 bmi so just dropping the weight seems tempting, but I'd also like to look bigger so in the past I've ended up avoiding committing to cutting or bulking, just winging it, and eventually giving up.

I think if I knew where I can realistically set my sights and have a plan I'm more likely to stick with it. Anyone else escape being skinny fat? What was the process like?

Stats: 6'0, roughly 78kgs, > 20% body fat most likely

How the fuck haven't we cured male pattern baldness yet???

It's a disease, people. And yes, I did get my hair cut today and was shocked to see the damage waiting for me underneath. We need to divert ressources to this problem that threatens 50% of the population!!!

Edit: pls dont tell me Norwoods look hot and I should just get in shape, I have a weird head and need the hair!!

Failing NYTimes seething that El-Sayed won the Michigan Primary

They describe him after his win as "a politically inexperienced, weight lifting, former public health official" who's basically charismatic and went on a bunch of podcasts.

No mention anywhere in the article that he was Health Director of Detroit at 30 years old, Rhodes Scholar with a PhD in Public Health from Oxford, Columbia Medical School grad on a full scholarship, Valedictorian at The University of Michigan, Captain of the school wresting team etc etc. Just a tech savvy Arab Muslim dude.

They even try to discount his win by suggesting he underperformed despite going up against the most expensive democratic primary campaign in history, which outspent him 10:1.

If you knew nothing about this guy and read the nytimes piece on him following his win you'd think he's a streamer who won because the kids just can't stop hating Israel and can't stop listening to Hasan Piker.

Sorry about the lame posting recently please enjoy some Kandinsky

Please if you have any interpretations of these works I would love to hear it. I've been fascinated by Kandinsky since middle school in a way no other abstract artist can match really.

A 30 year old's sperm has 8x more mutations on average than a 20 year old's

I'm in no place to have kids in 2 what the actual fuck.

Nature doesn't even care if your 20s are from 25-35 smh.

My therapist is using AI

After every session she send out a brief summary along with a bit of homework. It's so clearly written by AI with em dashes everywhere, the AI therapist tone, and the bullet point structure of AI.

I'm not that mad, she's cool to talk to but it's disappointing given I specified in the intake questionnaire I didn't want ai to be used.

I blame the clinic, shes probably forced to do this so the clinic and her supervising therapist knows shes a good girl who follows up but it's infuriating actually now that I think about it.

I wish I had a private practice therapist who would send me their unvarnished takes. Is nothing sacred???

I got kicked out

We were having sex at her place (meh, both tired) then cuddling and about to fall asleep.

Uhm, FrequentAnt, I kinda don't feel comfortable with you waking up here with us still getting to know each other and all. This is our third date and it's been a month basically.

I'm 5 seconds from passing out. It's almost 2 in the morning.

What? You want me to go? Uhmm no you can stay maybe for like 30 mins? No it's okay m I'll go now, it's fine.

She does have a lot of roommates and it's only the third date but I don't think I'm gonna text her back again. Am I being unreasonable or is that such an autistic move ?

Sex before atleast a month of knowing someone is actually crude, meaningless, and ultimately spiritually void

Takes a real low life to stress over it, let alone by the second date.
