Job interview
Might seem a silly question, I’m probably overthinking it, but I have an interview for an entry level AP role this week, it will be my first interview for over 10 years and my first ‘corporate’ish style interview, obviously wear full suit and tie? I see a lot of people nowadays seem to be wearing jumpers and smart trainers, I don’t want to look like the fool looking like I’m going to a wedding but also would rather over dress than under dress. Any interview tips appreciated also. TIA
Currently searching for entry-level roles in accountancy/finance, I have had a lot of roles over the years in warehouses/trade businesses so I’ve just done a summary at the bottom for that as they will be completely irrelevant to put on the CV. Any advice or feedback appreciated!
I feel defeated applying for roles in accounting/finance, I’m self funding AAT Level 3 and looking for an entry role, what more could they want? Everyone has zero experience at some point! What are hiring managers looking for?
I’ve applied for every role within an hour distance from where I live and barely get a response. Very frustrating. I know my CV is strong as I’ve had it checked by chartered accountants. I just have very little experience, any tips appreciated!
I have my FAPS exam in 9 days, passed my progress test and my first mock exam but really struggling with control accounts, it’s just not making sense to me, it seems like one adjustment will be added to the list of balances but then a very similar adjustment will be subtracted, is it just me?😆
