What peptides will help raise testosterone?

I had my doctor get my testosterone checked and it came back as:

Total Testosterone: 317
Free Testosterone: 59.9
Sex Hormone-binding Globulin: 35.8

Doc said I didn’t need TRT but I feel differently.

So I started to look into peptides and I’m currently taking tirzepatide 5mg 1x/week. It’s been a month and I’ve lost 11lbs. I started at 219lbs and now I’m at 208. I’m 5’11” and I’m 40 years old.

There’s SO MANY different peptides out there and I honestly have no idea if ANY websites are legit or if they’re scams. So before I find a legit website to purchase peptides I want to figure out exactly what peptides I should try.

From what I’ve researched I’ve been thinking about these peptides to help raise my testosterone:

  1. cjc/ipa NO DAC
  2. Kisspeptin
  3. Gonadorelin

Which one would you guys recommend? Or are there other effective options out there?

I’d love to do TRT out of pocket from one of those online telehealth places but I can’t afford to do that ATM.

What are your thoughts on Doctor’s Woodshop Microcrystal Wax Bowl Finish?

I just bought some at Woodcraft for $20. I’m hoping it’s a good food safe finish for the price

Large vase for my mothers birthday

The person that sold me the blank said it was curly sycamore, I believe. But I think it’s closer to curly maple. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Dimensions: about 15” tall x 8” diameter

Finished with Tried and True Varnish Oil

I epoxied a plastic insert into the top so it could actually be used as a vase.

Dyed segmented curly maple and box elder lamp

I made this lamp for my nephew for his birthday. I used a rechargeable magnetic light that attaches to the top. The stem of the mushroom has glow in the dark powder mixed in with the polycrylic finish so when he turns the light off it should glow for awhile too. I added texture to the stem with a dremel.

I dyed the curly maple with Angelus Leather Dye. It’s finished with gloss polycrylic.

The ‘cap’ of the mushroom is attached to the ‘stem’ with a clear acrylic sheet that’s epoxied to each pieces.

Dimensions: about 14” tall X 8” diameter.

Another dyed curly maple rain stick!!

This is one of my mini rain sticks. It’s about 2.75” in diameter and 13” long. The rain lasts about 30-40 seconds in this mini version.

A couple more rain sticks!!

Here’s a couple more rain sticks I recently made on my lathe. Both are curly maple. One is natural curly maple with black walnut dowels. The other one is dyed curly maple with brass rods. Both of them have about 60 seconds of “rain”. I’m currently making some rain sticks half this size that will last 60 seconds. I’m also designing some larger rain sticks that last 5-10 minutes.

These are fun to make and I’m getting faster and faster at making them! I can make one this size in about 3-4 hours if I don’t dye it. I’ve made 10 rain sticks since the beginning of May and I’m finding more efficient ways to make them and better designs to make the rain sound last longer.

I have these on Etsy if any of you are interested! Just lmk

I wish I could share a video of these with you guys but it won’t let me for some reason 🤷🏼‍♂️

What kind of maple is this with the big blister looking figure in it?

(Definitely not Birdseye with some of the “blisters” being over an inch in diameter)
A guy near me (in central Wisconsin) has a ton of it, along with curly, quilted, Birdseye, etc for $4/bf.

Do any of you know if there’s a bed extension compatible with the HF Bauer lathe?

If so, post a link to it?

Can I make these type of dovetails on a Porter Cable dovetail jig?

Yes, I know the actual joint is just a mitered joint and isn’t that strong compared to through dovetails or half blind dovetails.

Help with Porter Cable dovetail jig and dovetail router bit

My father in law is letting me borrow his Porter Cable dovetail jig so I can learn to use it and show him how to correctly use it.

I have a Performax fixed base 2HP router that I bought from Menards about 3 years ago, but the guide bearings aren’t compatible with my router and it’s impossible to find an acrylic base plate that’s compatible with my Performax that ALSO accepts the guide bearings that came with the Porter Cable dovetail jig.

MY QUESTIONS:

  1. Have any of you ever used the PC jig with an identical dovetail bit that also has a bearing on it?

  2. do any of you have this router? If so, do you know of a compatible base plate that accepts the bearing guides from Porter Cable?

  3. is there another way to use this jig with my router? (without having to buy a different router)

Here’s a link to the router: Performax® 11-Amp Corded 2 HP Fixed Base Router at Menards https://www.menards.com/main/tools/power-tools/routers/performax-reg-11-amp-corded-2-hp-fixed-base-router/2411463/p-1454046377207-c-10087.htm

It’s about 26” tall and 2 3/4” in diameter. I used steamed walnut (obviously) and the dowels are Maple.

I used micro glass beads (about 1 1/2 cups) and each end has a chamber with a funnel (more like an hourglass ⏳) so it slowly releases the glass beads. The opposite end will collect the glass beads.

I finished it with 4 coats of Tried and True Varnish Oil. The last coat was applied with wet/dry 320 grit sandpaper, which left a super silky smooth finish.

I made this one as a birthday present but I’m currently working on a couple more for craft fairs.
