The Bobiverse inspired my agentic AI workflow, and it has dramatically increased my productivity.
Before I found the Bobiverse, I mostly used AI as a more advanced google search, and maybe occasionally some small coding projects here and there. Ever since I started listening to the audiobooks though, I’ve started thinking more and more about setting up agents on specific workflows, or to scope some of the “some day“ projects on my to-do list.
Fast forward a few weeks and now I have a primary agent that goes by Bob, who has set up local databases and dozens of automated scrapers for my data hoarding hobbies, and has even installed and assigned work to several smaller local agents that each have their own “replicant” names.
I think most of the productivity probably has more to do with recent advancements in LLMs than the bobiverse motif, but I can’t help but feel like treating agents like replicants has made the work more fun.
