Urgent: Police Harassment and Possible False FIR - Need Guidance
Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone,
I am seeking legal advice regarding a situation involving my family in a village near Okara.
Situation:
About 8 days ago, my two brothers and two cousins were involved in a fight with another group. During the fight, one of my brother used a small knife, causing non-life-threatening injuries to two people from the rival group. They are stable and have returned home. However, my brothers and cousins have left the village to avoid arrest.
My Personal Issue:
I live in a city about 4km away from the village where the fight happened. I was 100% not present at the scene and have no involvement in the fight. I am currently in Lahore for safety for the last 3 days.
The Legal Complications:
No FIR yet: It has been 8 days and the rival group has not registered an FIR yet.
Medical Tampering: We have information that they are trying to bribe hospital staff to get a "heavy" medical report to include serious sections (like 324 PPC) in the FIR.
Police Harassment: I am worried that the police might raid my house or arrest me just for leverage/bribery, even though I wasn't there.
My Questions:
Since there is no FIR yet, I cannot apply for Pre-Arrest Bail. Should I file a Writ of Harassment (Section 22-A/22-B) in the Sessions Court to prevent illegal arrest or raids?
How can I legally establish my "Plea of Alibi" since I was 20km away in the city during the incident?
I have two young daughters at home and I want to return to them safely. What is the safest legal way to go back without being picked up by the police for "interrogation" or bribery?
