Has anyone received any news or knows about what is happening with promotion cycles in Software? I feel like my manager has been stringing me along with the idea of a promotion for the longest time
hello, I currently work in EMEA, I need to be at my home country (not EMEA, but it's quite cheaper to hire me in if it counts for something) for about 8 months for family and health reasons. I've tried to find out more about employee initiated global mobility, but I was wondering if anyone here has done it. Is it something only for very high bands? Do I need exec buy in? Does it help that i already have the right to work? I wouldn't expect IBM to help me with anything, just trying to keep my job... Ask HR showed me that at least in duration I would comply with the global ibmer programme, but not much else.
I will speak to my manager, but he is VERY new so I would like to hear from others too... Im not looking for a full relocation, just the specific time frame mentioned
