Hyatt "Edit" Mexico City - Horrible

This review is for the Hyatt Andaz (NOT the Regency): Not certain how this hotel made the 'edit' cut...the hotel lounge is built around "pints and paws" for local petowners, the roof top restuarant blares music and the pool is in a state of complete disrepair - hundreds of one inch tiles missing, dirty - READ Unuseable. The rooms, many have a 4+ foot diameter infrastructure column running through the center of the room, between the bed and the window - ZERO view. The escalator with red carpet is SO out of date, like a filthy casino. There was a "call this number for a massage sticker' on the bathroom mirror from the 1990s that the hotel clearly has tried to remove - unsuccessfully, stained into the mirror glass. Just so gross. Will write CSR and suggest review of their edit classification - but the single thing this place had going for it, location. But the rest totally overshadows even that strength. PS. The drinks are terrible, with 4-5 bar tenders standing around - bullshitting. I accept that if things are in order - but it was DIRTY....each day of our 4 day stay. Bottom line: NO BUENO.
