A little weeding on a summers day in San Francisco, under the fog.

Tidied up this patch of sidewalk weeds on the way to school, want it looking clean for all the new & returning families.

The weather has been too nice for this to be "Summer" in San Francisco, but fog or shine, there's litter to be gotten off our streets.

This past weekend in SF, 32 citywide cleanups, 400 volunteers, 430+ bags of litter removed, 1 cleaner & healthier city.

Keep showing up & bring friends. Against all odds, we can keep our home cleaner.

900 volunteers removed 1,000+ bags of trash at 40 citywide cleanups this past weekend in San Francisco, one of the largest turnout of volunteers thanks to One City Day bringing people out!

Inspiring to see so many good people come out to do their part to make our city the best! Yet always more to do, so please keep finding ways to add more volunteering to your lifestyle.

Over 6,700 cleanups organized with just everyday people

Didn’t realized there were so many soft people on Reddit who complain about a program where we provide a gift card to low-income seniors for volunteering to clean streets.

Probably the same people who don’t volunteer to do anything to help San Francisco. Maybe if you helped out more, we wouldn’t have to ask our elders to help, which they are glad to do since many of these armchair internet trolls won’t. Check out our upcoming cleanups for opportunities to be a better person: https://refuserefusesf.org/cleanups

Successful 1st cleanup with low-income Asian seniors

A new program sponsored by The Asian American Foundation. We went to the food pantry run by Richmond Neighborhood Center to recruit volunteers. 8 seniors joined us at Smart & Final to clean for an hour and received a gift card to buy groceries after.

3x Win! Exercise, clean streets, and food assistance all in one!

Big thank you to the SF Giants for hosting some of our most dedicated cleanup organizers and volunteers on #pride night.

Couldn’t quite get the W, but we’re the comeback city. We take pride in keeping the environment clean, that’s just what we do.

Let’s go SF! Let’s go Giants!

These Thank You notes from students at The Hamlin School and Rooftop School were very motivating.

These “little street clean-ups” are a small thing that has inspired 20,000 unique volunteers to remove over 130,000 gallons of litter pollution from San Francisco streets.

Medians On Fulton Cleaned

These medians along Fulton St next to Golden Gate Park were annoying, so went out and cleared them of weeds and dirt.

It’s a small thing, but a lot of little acts like this add to the overall beauty of San Francisco.
