Paytm offer query

Paytm offer query

I normally recharge my Jio number with the ₹899 plan once every 3 months.

Paytm is currently offering 15% off (up to ₹150) on Visa Platinum Debit Cards, and I have one. It seems I can use this offer once every month.

So, should I recharge ₹899 every month and keep the extra Jio recharges in the queue?

Would this be a good idea, or is there any downside to stocking up on Jio recharges?

Meal card query

Hi, could you please let me know if Sodexo or Pluxee meal cards work on JioMart for purchasing non-grocery items? I really need to know this urgently. It would be a huge help if you could confirm. 🙏

Sbi phonepe black Visa card

I have a PhonePe SBI black visa Credit Card with some reward points. When I try to redeem them, I only see options to purchase gift cards. Is there any way to convert these reward points into real money or get them credited to my bank account?

Tax query

Hi everyone,

Need some guidance regarding Meal Card tax saving under New Tax Regime.

My estimated FY 2026-27 income will be around ₹13.5 lakh including salary increment and FD interest. Company is offering Axis Bank Meal Card benefit of ₹8,800/month (~₹1.05 lakh yearly) and saying it is tax-exempt.

So if I take it, my taxable income may come below ₹12 lakh after standard deduction, which may make my tax almost zero due to rebate.

Is my understanding correct?

Also:

Does unused meal card balance expire monthly?

Or can it be used anytime later since card validity is 5 years?

Is it actually worth taking for WFH employees?

Would appreciate advice from people already using such meal cards.
