I see quite a few Irish influencers posting their family members who have some form of disability. Could be Down syndrome or some other form of mental / physical disability.
The videos are usually light hearted and nice to watch but there’s a small part of me that feels like those with the disabilities are being exploited for views and to drive up engagement to help get better brand deals for the influencer.
Is this just me being cynical or how do you feel about it?
