We need to take back unions
Since this group is open, I wanna share this webpage that I found while researching about some issues with my current labour organization.

I heard that months ago, PSAC appointed an administrator to oversee YEU. Did they disclose the reason of it, or are they still under this layer of oversight from the national parent union?
I recently read this article about Alisha Kang's lawsuit against PSAC:

I heard she is in Yukon right now. Does anyone know if that's true or whether she has attended any public events here? Please keep comments respectful.
If you've ever had a workplace concern and reached out to your union, what happened? Did the process work the way you expected?

Yukoners, curious to hear your thoughts. There are a number of organizations and institutions operating in the territory that could be some government-run, some quasi-independent that exist to serve a specific purpose or represent a specific group of people.
In your experience, which one do you feel tends to do the bare minimum? Maybe it's an organization that was created with a clear mandate but rarely seems to act on it, or one where the people it's supposed to serve regularly walk away feeling let down or unheard.
No need to name names if you're not comfortable even describing the type of institution or the situation is helpful. Just curious whether others have noticed the same patterns, or if there are specific experiences you'd be willing to share.
