How do you get past the friends and family stage?

Hey everyone,

I recently finished fashion school, and I've also spent a little over a year designing and making dresses for another designer. Now I really want to start selling my own work.

So far I've mostly only sold to friends and family (usually for way less than I should because... they're friends and family 😂)

I'm kind of stuck on how to get past that stage and actually start finding real paying customers. How did you get your first sales from people who didn't already know you?

I'd love to hear from anyone who's built their own fashion brand or business.

Thanks! Any advice is appreciated.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been trading for about 3 months now. Still very much a beginner. I’ve taken a mix of small wins and losses while trying to learn the basics and stay consistent.

Right now I’ve been using Excel to track my trades, but it’s starting to feel limited. I can log entries and exits, but I’m struggling to get a clear view of my overall performance like my true win rate, risk/reward consistency, and how my strategy is actually performing over time.
I’m looking for better tools or methods people are using to track their trading properly.

What apps or software do you guys recommend for trade journaling and performance tracking? Or is there a better system beyond Excel that beginners should be using?
Appreciate any advice.
