I tried this ring on in store before and loved it so much that I genuinely didn’t want to take it off.
Later I found a jeweler who could make this style for me, so I finally went for it. The center stone is a little over 3 carats, and the blue is insanely bright in person. Under the light it almost looks like it’s glowing, and the diamond halo makes the center stand out even more.
What do you guys think?
I hardly ever see black ostrich B25s, which is probably why I’ve liked this combination for such a long time. Black Birkins aren’t unusual, but black ostrich just feels different to me.
Now that I finally have it, I like that the ostrich texture isn’t super obvious from a distance. It just looks like a black B25 at first, and then you notice the little pores once you get closer or the light hits it. It’s also lighter in hand than I expected, which makes it really easy to carry.
I’ve already realized this is going to be a great work bag for me. It doesn’t feel flashy at all, and black goes with basically everything I wear to work. I’ll definitely be a little sad when it eventually gets scratched, but I don’t want to baby it too much either. I think I’m just going to use it and let it stay with me for a long time.
