Need help ET-2800

I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with my printer for about 4 hours with no luck.

My computer shows the printer as **Ready**, but it won’t print anything. I’ve tried changing the network settings, but it says **“Printer is busy”** whenever I try to access the Wi-Fi settings, even with the USB cable unplugged. There’s nothing in the print queue, and the printer has never been connected to my Wi-Fi.

I’ve also tried doing a factory reset, but it just sits for a few seconds and then goes back to the reset screen without actually resetting. The printer also won’t power off normally. I left it sitting for about 30 minutes, but it stayed on the whole time, so the only way to turn it off is to unplug it.

I’ve tried updating the drivers, firmware, and software, but the Epson installer can’t detect the printer even though Windows recognizes it.

The strange part is that the copier works fine—it successfully printed a copy—so it seems like this is some kind of software or firmware issue rather than a hardware problem.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
