Hoping to gather some advice. I have reached out to Brokers but appear to be gathering mixed opinions.
My situation
- base = 105k
- car allowance (ontop of taxable income) = $16500
- total taxable = $121,500
My wife
- 56k a year
- in the role 3 months
- in probation
- is due for a baby next year (will stop working)
1 other dependent, no debt outside of HECS
Deposit = 25k
We are wanting to know what our options are and are realistic that it will likely have to be off my income only.
My wife will be working until the end of the year however.
I guess I want to know:
- are home and land packages (In cheap areas) a possibility?
- can I get into the market with a 500kish Unit / villa ?
- is the keystart loan possible with both our incomes
- will any lender consider us together or will it need to be a sole application with me
If it is possible, we would like to get onto this ASAP before the end of the year.
