Wheel Disconnected issue
Hey everyone, hoping someone has a fix for this. My T598 wheelbase stays fully powered on, but mid-race the LCD screen randomly displays a "Wheel Disconnected" error. When this happens, my paddle shifters completely freeze up (or refuse to downshift/upshift past a certain gear), and my throttle and brake inputs malfunction—the max input I can get becomes capped at only 10% or 90%, or there is no input at all. The input error remains completely frozen like this until I physically reboot the base. To rule out the common fixes: I have already soldered the power supply wires directly to the internal board to completely stop the notorious power defects, and I am using a premium USB4 C-to-C cable, so the power supply and main data lines are 100% solid. Since the error clears only after a hard power-cycle, it seems like the internal data processor is crashing or the contact pins between the rim and base are dropping connection. Has anyone dealt with this? Any advice would be massively appreciated!
