My 5-year-old Lindy only gets better with use

My first H bag was this Lindy 30 in B5 Rouge Grenat, and I’ve had it for five years now.

The TC leather has become softer with use, and the bag no longer feels stiff or too proper. It has turned into one of the easiest bags for me to carry.

A lot of people say the Lindy isn’t pretty, but I’ve always liked how carefree it feels.

I recently added an insert, so the inside is finally more organized without making the bag too rigid.Five years later, it’s still one of the bags I reach for often.

This H add-on horse honestly left me speechless

This horse is probably one of the strangest H add-ons I’ve ever seen.

To be honest, I thought it was ugly at first.

The neck looks a little odd, the face is kind of blank, and sitting on top of all the orange boxes, it almost looks like a random prop that wandered into the photo.

But here’s the problem. If this wasn’t from H, I probably wouldn’t even look at it twice. But since it is an add-on, and the quality is actually not bad, I somehow started finding it ugly-cute after staring at it for too long.

Now I’m conflicted.Do we actually like these things, or do we automatically give them a filter just because they’re from H?

Lizard kelly i from bobo

Just received the photos for this lizard Kelly I from BoBo. The whole process was smooth, and it arrived quicker than I expected.

My first impression is pretty good, but I do not have much experience with this leather, so I would love a second opinion.

What do you think of it overall? Is there anything that stands out?

Why Leather Changes the Look of a Bag

Leather is more than just a material — it shapes the overall character of a bag.

Different leather finishes create different impressions. Grain, softness, structure, and surface texture all affect how a color appears and how the bag feels in daily use.

A smooth leather may highlight color depth, while a textured leather can add more dimension. Some leathers keep a sharper silhouette, while others develop a softer look with time.

That’s why the same color can feel completely different when paired with another leather. Understanding leather helps us appreciate the small details behind each piece.

Review: My 0V Gris Cristal K22 Is Much Easier to Wear Than I Expected

I’d wanted a small grey bag for a while, but regular grey always felt like it was missing something. When I came across this 0V Gris Cristal K22, my first reaction was excitement. My second was concern: would the glossy finish feel too formal for regular use?

Once it arrived, that worry faded quite a bit.

I didn’t spend hours zooming in on every tiny detail. I mainly checked the overall shape, the front scale placement and the hardware position, and everything looked balanced to me. The finish definitely catches the light, but it looks much more natural in person and isn’t constantly flashing.

It took about a month from confirming the details to receiving it. I also saw a few updates during the wait, so the final result was fairly close to what I had expected.

My biggest takeaway so far is that it’s much easier to style than I imagined. It isn’t a completely understated everyday bag, but it also isn’t as difficult to wear as “shiny alligator” might sound.

I already own quite a few bags that I love, and this one has officially joined them.

Does anyone recognize this red suede kelly pochette?

I saved this photo a while ago and completely forgot where I found it. It looks like a Kelly Pochette in Veau Doblis, but I’m not sure about the exact color. Rubis, or another red? Does anyone recognize this combination?

Six-Month Update on My Glossy Olive Croc B25 — From BoBo

When I first received this bag six months ago, I worried that the color might feel too formal and that I wouldn’t carry it very often. Indoors, it looks quite dark, while natural light brings out the green and the shine. It is much more understated in person than it appears in photos.

Over the past six months, I’ve carried it to dinners, on weekends and during a few short trips. The shape hasn’t changed noticeably, the corners still look good, and the hardware only shows a few small signs of normal use.

At first, I inspected it every time I put it down. The more I carried it, the less nervous I became. I still avoid taking it out in bad weather, but I no longer leave it sitting untouched in the closet.

Why do Chinese buyers dislike veining while Western collectors love it?

I’ve noticed something interesting.

In Chinese Hermès communities, heavy veining is often seen as a flaw. People say it makes the leather look old or dry.

But on Reddit and PurseForum, collectors seem to love it. Some even pay more for bags with lots of natural veining because they think it gives the leather character.

Same leather. Completely different reactions.

Is this just a cultural difference?

Would you choose a perfectly smooth Birkin, or one with lots of veining?

One chair somehow fits all my little

I didn’t plan this at all.

I just put one bag on the chair, then another, then somehow the whole chair became a tiny display corner.

And the funny thing is, they fit just right.

Different colors, different handles, different little details, but sitting together like this makes them look even cuter.

I guess this chair has officially stopped being a chair.

From now on, it’s my new display shelf.

BoBo PSPs — Would Appreciate a Quick QC

I really like how this looks, but I’m still pretty new to this kind of thing.

I don’t have an authentic piece to compare it with, so I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from people with more experience.

At first glance, do you think this looks convincing?

I’ve never owned anything in this style before, and I also know this exact color isn’t something you easily come across in stores—so I decided to go for it.

No two stone dials are really the same

This Day-Date with the hematite-style dial really caught my eye.

The texture on the dial feels almost random in the best way — every line has its own direction, and no two pieces would ever look exactly alike.

The diamond bezel makes it brighter, but the dial itself is still the part I keep staring at.

Blue dial, pure tool watch energy

Hard-edged, no-nonsense tool watch with a deep blue dial.

The steel bezel and brushed case give it a very solid, almost industrial feel on wrist. The blue dial keeps it from being too aggressive, adding just enough depth to balance the overall look.

Feels more like something built for action than display.

Ended up choosing 34mm after trying both sizes

I was debating between the 29mm and 34mm sizes and tried both in store a few times.

In the end I went with the 34mm new double-ring diamond version—it felt more balanced on the wrist, and a bit more bold and modern without being too much.

I chose the “day and night” theme because it fits the idea behind it.

Two Gold APs, One Decision to Make

Tried both on today and honestly didn’t expect them to feel this different on wrist.

One is the classic ultra-thin style—very clean, minimal, almost quiet.

The other is the full chronograph look, much louder and more textured under light.

Same gold tone, but completely different personalities once you wear them.

Still not sure which direction fits better, so just sharing the comparison here.

Got This For My Little Sister — Does It Suit Her?

Got this for my little sister.

She tried it on and liked it, but I’m still not 100% sure if this style really suits her.

What do you guys think—too much for daily wear, or actually works fine?

I Can't Decide If This Is A Watch Or A Tiny Sculpture

Most watches focus on the dial.

This one feels like it built an entire scene inside the case.

The flower immediately steals all of the attention.

Not subtle.

Not trying to be.

And honestly, that's probably the point.

The Most Dangerous Size Is The One That Feels Right

Tried it on just to compare sizes.

Big mistake.

Once a watch feels this comfortable, it's hard to convince yourself you don't need it.

Daily black OOTD with my bling watch set

I’ve been wearing this watch set almost every day lately.

Full diamond dial, blue bezel, navy leather strap—paired it with my big pearl ring today.

The pearls actually tone down all the sparkle, so it doesn’t feel over the top.

Wore it with a simple black outfit for coffee and dinner.

Honestly, I keep catching myself looking at it while I’m just waiting for my drink.

Anyone else have a piece that makes you do the same thing?
