When did Glitch become the target of stupid "drama" and toxic "fan"doms? And why doesn't this affect all shows?
My hypothesis : TADC has a so huge success that it attracted crazy persons, narcissist perverts and opportunists with it. Also, Goosework was pretty active on social network. Same for The knights of Guinevere : Dana Terrace, still very active online, since The Owl House, unwittingly attracts the bad weirdos and trolls. And for Gameoverse, I think it's the easily viral nature of the character. A cute character that can be inserted into any game easily attracts attention.
When you compare it with Murder Drones fandom (with a more confidential success and a creator who NEVER interacted with the community) or the Gastlight District's one, it's terrifying. They are not flawless, of course, but still less toxic.
What do you think ?
