I was shortlisted for the “New Dawn Project” idol project and I'm trying to verify if it's legit

Hi! I'm a 15-year-old Singaporean and I recently came across an idol audition on TikTok for something called the New Dawn Project.
I applied mostly for fun and submitted a short video of myself singing a Japanese song. I honestly thought nothing would come of it, but they emailed me saying that I had been shortlisted for Stage 2 and invited me to an online interview.

The thing is, I noticed a few things that made me want to verify the project before going any further:

Their stated audition age range is 16–29.

I originally put that I was 16 because
I genuinely didn't expect to be shortlisted. I later emailed them myself to correct this and told them that I'm actually 15 and asked whether my age disqualified me.

They replied saying they had discussed it internally and were willing to make an exception, and said I could potentially be a trainee until July 2027 if I passed the physical audition.

Their email address uses Gmail rather than a company domain.

Their Instagram account is fairly small, although they do appear to have posts about idol events and performances in Singapore.

I'm not saying they're definitely a scam — I'm just trying to do my due diligence, especially since I'm under 18.

Has anyone here heard of New Dawn Project or attended one of their events? Does this seem like a legitimate local idol project?
