Anyone else switch from full meal prep to just component prep?

I used to pack five identical chicken and rice tubs every Sunday, but by Wednesday I hated looking at them and ordered takeaway instead.

Now I just prep building blocks roast a big tray of plain veggies, cook a pot of quinoa, and bake some protein. I mix and match sauces every night so it feels like a different dinner each time.

What's your trick for meal prepping without getting bored three days in?

What’s a healthy food you had to stop buying because you simply can't control your portions with it?

For me, it’s trail mix and almond butter. I buy them thinking they’re a great whole-food snack, but I end up mindlessly eating half the jar in one sitting. What healthy staple do you have to completely ban from your kitchen for your own good?

What healthy eating rule did you drop that actually made your diet way better?

I used to force myself to eat plain salads, only to end up starving an hour later and eating random snacks. Adding actual fat and carbs to my greens changed everything.

What rigid eating rule did you abandon in favor of real balance?

Why did my skin only clear up after I stopped using Differin/adapalene?

I used adapalene for 3 months and felt like my skin was just constantly irritated and breaking out. Out of frustration, I completely dropped it from my routine last month.

After that, my active breakouts slowly cleared up and my skin texture actually smoothed out. Has anyone else experienced this delayed reaction, or was my skin barrier just damaged the whole time?
