Yes I’m aware I’m posting in the Calgary Flames subreddit, but I feel the need to spread the word.

For Flames fans (as well as our rival Oilers fans and frankly all of Alberta), October 19, 2026 is truly the day to circle on your calendars.

An important decision will be made. You might be asking why does this apply here on this subreddit?

Remember during the Stanley cup finals this past season, Alberta-born goalie Carter Hart (who was playing for the Golden Knights that time) wore an Alberta related and controversial T-shirt? (Link for context: https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/s/ieQAdURcsC)

That alone inspired me to make this post urging all of you to let your voices be heard on October 19.

Make sure that scum Carter Hart continues to cry like he did when the Knights lost the Stanley cup finals. Calgary Flames fans in Canada for life!!!

If you prefer to do it earlier, here’s a link for an early ballot: https://www.elections.ab.ca/resources/media/news-releases/2026-referendum-special-ballot-requests/

Hi I mostly play tekken but I’m looking to branch out to other 3D fighting games.

I’m still on the look out for my Soulcalibur main.

When it comes to Alisa there are a couple of gameplay aspects that I like about her:

->Evasive movement especially in her chainsaw stance

->Arguably the best sidestep out of all Tekken 8 characters (even without her evasive stances)

->Being able to switch between a keepaway style with her pokes to being more aggressive with her chainsaw mixups.

With these points in mind, which Soulcalibur character MOST embodies these traits? (I’m also open to guest characters from the latest entry, SC6)

Hold that shit, Carter Hart and the Vegas Golden Knight. You guys deserve your Stanley cup loss.

I know some Calgary Flames fans are now salty of not getting that extra 1st round pick from Vegas (if they won the cup). But let’s be real; the way Vegas was acting throughout these playoffs, they deserved to be humbled by a better, hungrier Carolina team.

Carter Hart, the moment you got exposed for a wearing a “Free Alberta” T-shirt, you’ve angered not only the hockey gods but all of Alberta as well. I am disgusted that you were a Calgary born and raised citizen yet chose to side with clown traitors with your political stance.

If anything, Hart’s playoff collapse is karma for all of his wrongdoings. F you Hart and the entire Golden Knights franchise!

See you all flames fans at the end of June as we collectively salt at the NHL draft.

I’m pretty sure I (the Alisa) should’ve gotten hit by the rage art. How did I avoid that one?!?!

First off all goodwill Anaheim has done to eliminate Edmonton from the playoffs has been washed away with their playoff series loss to Vegas. Thanks a lot Anaheim, now that Vegas 1st round pick falls further down the draft order…

Any optimism I have for the Flames future was ruined with that BS draft lottery L. Now let me guess Murphy’s Law will occur where Vegas will somehow upset Colorado and go on to win the Stanley Cup. I don’t care if we get another conditional 1st round pick from Vegas (if they win the cup). F you Vegas and Anaheim. Maybe Conroy should never do trade business with Vegas ever again…

Also F you Carter Hart. Can’t believe the NHL allows sexual assaulters to continue playing in the NHL (I don’t care if the judge ruled him not guilty, common sense should tell you otherwise).

I pray Colorado overcomes any president’s trophy curse and annihilate Vegas in the West Finals…
