Ever run into your previous rentals in the wild?
I rented this 2026 Ford Expedition Platinum for work from DTW in February. It was brand new at the time — only about 100 miles on the odometer. Super comfy, great sound system, convenient hands-free cruise, good power, and pretty good fuel economy for what it was. To date it was one of my favorite rentals.
Fast forward to July, I was on vacation in Florida and spotted a Michigan-plated, white, Ford Expedition Platinum. Since I had to key-in the plate quite a few times for parking, the number sounded familiar too. So I go back through my photo reel to find the vehicle condition video. Lo and behold, it’s the same vehicle and it somehow made it all the way down to Florida lol. Hello old friend!
