Hey y’all I got officially hired like 2 or 3 days ago! But my store manager had been having issues getting her emails to me for some reason. I had to reach out to her to figure out my second interview and to figure out I was hired because she kept sending me emails and I never received them. When she would reply to the ones I sent asking directly i’d get her replies just fine.

She showed me the email she has on file for me and its 100% correct I checked, and I received her initial email about the first interview so none of this makes sense. I checked and its not an issue with my email itself.

Now i’m not receiving the background check. I should’ve gotten it 2 days ago. I reached out to her and she said she called the place to resend it to my email and to look out for the email… its been 3 hours and I didn’t get it. But, she also said her other new hire wasn’t receiving the background check emajl either. She reassured me I’m not doing anything wrong and I’m still hired which is good for my horrible anxiety. But still, I wonder whats going on because this is extremely frustrating and stressful. Its nor my store manager’s fault she is wonderful I’m not trying to disparage her.

This has been stressing me sick because I desperately need to leave my low-paying, low vibrational, awful barista job I have at the moment. I also have bills to pay and desperately need the better pay and hours from this job.

Has anyone else had this experience? She literally has the correct email on file for me… and I’m still getting other emails as usual so it’s not that. I also checked every single folder possible before anyone suggests that trust I already have. I have quite literally done everything in my power to see what could’ve gone wrong on my end. I genuinely think its something messed up on their end, considering the other new hire also didn’t get the background check email.

Does anyone know what could be going on/has experienced this? Its extremely stressful and frustrating as I’m already struggling financially because of the horrible job I have right now.

Title explains it, I just got hired at a new job and my manager has been trying to reach out to me and texted me letting me know a background check was sent to my email. I received no background check but I keep receiving my normal subscription emails and such.

I already tried to troubleshoot and check all my settings possible and it seems to be fine. I double checked that she had the right email on file for me and she does. I received her initial email about interviewing me for the job too. When she tried to reach out to me for my second interview thats when her emails stopped going through to my address for some reason. I had to email her to ask her about both that and whether I got the job or not and when she replied directly to those emails I got them. I hate sounding pushy, I just wasn’t receiving her emails! She’s understanding tho it’s just a massive headache right now because I need to get out of my current job ASAP.

This is extremely important to me so it’s so frustrating. She told me she has to call the background check people to send the email to my iCloud address which I never use but hopefully that works. I sent a test email from my gmail to my iCloud and it just went to my junk folder but it’s probably because I put no subject. I checked my junk and spam and every folder possible on my gmail, no missing emails from my store manager to be found. Checked all my settings and they were correct. She has the correct email on file for me. I hope this headache can end today! I really need this job. I’m in a very toxic low paying work environment right now and this job is going to save me financially.
