im trying to transfer to tmu for this fall. i applied to bsc biology because i was sure i wouldnt get into bsc biomed. but once im in can i switch to bsc biomed if i do well?
reasons i want to transfer..
- i am 40 and doing bsc biomed. i dont find anyone my age, wheras if im closer to toronto i cud go to school and then hang around toronto and meet people who i can connect with.i fell there may be more older students in tmu than in otu which feels like a high school.
-tmu is older and more reputed than otu?
- main reaosn is closeness to toronto. i have health issues and so far i found doctors in suburbs to be useless. im hoping doctors in toronto are smarter and i can get referred to specialists in toronto.
- where should i get a room...scarborough? can i get a decent room for 800$ private.
- how bad is the commute. do i have to come early for classes and labs..
-tmu has more courses than otu , so since im not sure about what i want to do i can switch.
is tmu costlier than other schools. my worry is cost of everything is higher as one moves closer to city. should i wait a year and try for york or uwindsor..hows that?
looking to start a business in any field. 2 heads are better than one.looking for a cofounder. sort of business started out of dorm room situation. 1 idea is provide personalized healthcare in India...but also middle east and Canada. another idea is BPO, thermal wear biz. I'm sure we can come up with something.
