I know now this should have been cleaned. Looking for expert opinion on whether or not it was installed correctly? If not, could it be the reason for secondary heat exchanger to rust? I have to replace it and furnace is 11 years old. Thanks for your help.
I'm in a tough spot with deciding whether to replace an 11 year old furnace or repair the secondary heat exchanger. The cost to repair is $1600.00 which includes the part and labour/installation. Hoping to hear from someone who's been in the same situation and some wise HVAC techs! Thank you very much for your help.
