How do you travel to school if you don’t stay in hall?

I know there’s a heartland bus service but the timing doesn’t really match my schedule and I was wondering if there’s any other way I can come from Pasir Ris instead of taking the train all the way. And grab is definitely way too expensive too.

Be honest, how much are you spending on your child’s tuition every month?

I’m pretty new to navigating the whole primary school tuition scene and honestly have no idea what a “normal” budget is anymore.

I’ve been looking around and the prices seem to be all over the place. Some centres are around $150–$250 per subject each month, while others can easily go much higher. Then there’s 1-to-1 tuition, which seems like a completely different ball game.

My child is still in primary school, so part of me feels like I shouldn’t go overboard this early. But at the same time, I also don’t want to wait until they’re really struggling before getting some extra help.
For parents here, roughly how much do you spend on tuition per child every month?
Would be really helpful if you could share their level, how many subjects they have tuition for, and whether you feel the money has actually been worth it.

I’m trying to figure out whether something like $500-$800/month is realistic or if I’m completely underestimating what parents are spending nowadays 😅
