Bel'Veth is the undisputed best champ in ARAM rn

One of my big concerns with the rework was she'd become useless in ARAM but it's quite the opposite. I had 3 games and she has felt insanely OP, and I checked lolaytics and she's listed as the best ARAM champ in the game. For a new champ that people don't even know how to optimize yet, thats insane.

I just believe in going overgrowth + scaling HP + warmogs second on melee champs in aram so you can stay as long as you want on map and only die when the wave is shoved and you're on item spike. It's also nice because you can live with your true form as long as you want. Also second wind is just broken in ARAM.

Because of you're increased passive stacks (you end up with 100+ easily), you deal insane base damage which skyrockets once you get overlords. Like you are not lacking damage at all even though you aren't building any, it's partly due to her aram adjustment buffs from pre-rework.

This is a PSA because she is 100% getting extremely heavy ARAM nerfs ASAP so enjoy her while you can.

PSA: You can't afk farm.

If you only got your stacks from full clearing, it would take you until 36+ minutes to get 80.

1 kill = 3 camps worth of stacks. Of course you're extremely weak on first clear but once you reach your level 9, your first item, and 40 stacks with form you really need to push it and find kills otherwise you won't reach your permanent form until after enemy gets elder drake, even with 10 cs pm.

That's an added reason why triple tonic is nice, because the level 9 potion helps you have a stronger 9 spike and get the ball rolling.

TLDR; Farm until lvl 9/first item/40 stacks but then start farming champions.

4fun Full AP

Full AP bel'veth mid in swiftplays has been an absolute blast for me, much more fun than any other iteration of laning bel'veth (there was ravaneous hydra before). Before AP bel was shit because it was only about R resets but now that your W one shots its actually playable.

I personally go stormraiders surge, axiom arcanist + transendence + scorch +legend haste + cut down mid and just W and scurry away, and I go full AP + Pen to one shot so stormsurge, zhonyas, rabadons, void staff, but a lot of stuff seems to work.

Bauffs was trying gunblade lich bane, lourlo went protobelt, so get creative with it.

Heartsteel Synergy Items

Maybe its just a fad, but I'm genuinely enjoying kraken -> heartsteel -> rageblade on Bel on my dia mmr smurf (playing bel in masters vs this invading camille meta is horrendous) and it opens up many possible fourth items that I wanted to discuss.

Which item scaling with HP do we think would suit her best with this build? I'm not sure which does highest DPS between hullbreaker, titanic, overlord's chainmail or sterak's. All need some testing!

Who are the best coaches for Bel'Veth

If anyone's ever purchased coaching, especially for bel'veth, I'd like to know who has given you the highest quality coaching.

I'm asking cause I'm almost GM and considering pushing chall, but to make it easier I think I'm gonna get some coaching first.

It's Kraken, omnivamp boots, botrk, then stridebreaker. Going 2 damage items first takes advantage of the extremely underpriced and soon to be nerfed omnivamp boots because the more damage you do the more you heal.

Rune page he goes sixth sense and treasure hunter now. When I think about, relentless hunter isn't as valuable this season because of jungle quest which already gives movespeed, cashback doesn't help you snowball and take over as it's a scaling rune, so while I think they're both strong options treasure hunter may have the slight edge for bel'veth.

Sixth sense instead of sudden impact was confusing to me because who doesn't like free damage until I tried it, this is a godsend if you like invading because if you wait in your redside river bush at start of the game, it will TELL YOU if they warded for your raptors -> invade. If they did, you can just do your redside (raptors into red in krugs), base for longsword, and invade their redside because you will know they no longer have a ward. I think sudden impact may suffer from the same bug (or feature) from your passive that makes ignite deal 75% damage, if that's the case there is even more reason not to take it. Just give it a try if you like invading. I've also found value where if I'm doing my wolves I can see if they warded over blue wall, then I'll know they did my blue (or are doing it) without checking. It has a large radius.

Anyway I've been running this setup that I haven't seen anyone else in the korea or NA leaderboard try yet and it feels really nice, and might only work for one patch until boots nerfed, so give it a try! I love this guys innovations.

I think obviously standard will still be best by far if you seriously want to climb, I still wanted to discuss these interesting changes, are these items any fun. I got bored of kraken stride for 3 years straight.

Statikk Shiv has two new passive's, the first making your on hits AOE is terrible for stacking your ult and it goes to the last target hit in the chain (often the furthest from you), HOWEVER, the second makes it reset on basic attacks, and bel'veth is the fastest attacker in the game. Sadly the flat damage looks too low. I saw a clip of it where your E can apply statik multiple times. https://youtu.be/_ezHHxTOebQ?t=86 This looks stupid with kata R btw...

Voltaic is just a broken item for this patch, I think it's broken enough to be ok on bel. The interesting new passive interaction is it makes your spells prock energized attacks, so your W does the storm razor move speed and damage, adding more burst and allowing you to go crit, I'll definitely try this. A moment of silence for old voltaic which was amazing on bel in urf.

Hail of blades is really frustrating because it makes your E do double damage but only if you use it at the start of your combo, and the domination tree sucks! But getting 5 autos at double attack speed is pretty bursty.
