Trying to diagnose what may have happened inside the phone. Basically, I dropped my phone (it has a Spigen Tough Armor case), and now the USB-C port and the loudspeaker no longer work. I can charge the phone wirelessly. When I shake the phone, I can hear something rattling. Wondering if it's a simple cable to the daughterboard that came loose or if something else broke? How much do you figure it will cost to take it to a store and have them fix it? I know replacing the daughterboard will be pricy but how much will opening up the phone run to simply reconnect a cable? And how long and what impact will charging the phone wirelessly from now on have? Basically, should I get this fixed or not?

We talked to them when I got home and offered to pay for their carpet cleaning. They just laughed and said thanks bit its okay they already cleaned it up it wasnt a big deal. We're all good cause they know this was an anomoly of bad luck for us and she even gave my wife a hug.

So to the people saying we shouldn't have dogs or put our pets to sleep, you were wrong.
