Help advice needed!!!

Hey everyone! I made this track that I really like but I think it has two big problems (lmk if you find other problems):

1/ It sounds really flat, it doesn’t have that Avicii energy that make you wanna dance, and I don’t know how to reproduce this sensation.

2/ Mixing is terrible, tbh I never understood mixing even after watching videos, I understand things like EQ or Compressor/Limiter but my mix sounds really bad and that is possibly the reason of my first problem.

If anyone could help, It’ll be really helpful.
Thanks.

Ps : Also the clap on the second part after the drop is too loud but I don’t know what happened during the export. (I can provide the Flp if needed)

Piano song that I can’t find

Hi! I’m trying to identify a piano piece I heard yesterday at my university. Someone was playing it live but I couldn’t ask them. I tried to hum it but I’m really bad at it and got no results from Shazam, Google hum-to-search or Midomi.
Here’s everything I remember:

• Solo piano, only one hand audible (no left hand or barely perceptible)

• Descending arpeggios : notes cascading downward one by one, not chords played together

• Fast tempo

• Played in the higher octaves of the piano

• The arpeggios change chords as the piece progresses, with no distinct melody on top, the arpeggios ARE the piece

• The overall vibe is fantasy-like, almost anime opening-ish

• It reminds me of pieces like Drowning Love by Kou and Solas, that kind of atmospheric, emotional feel

• Not a massive worldwide hit, but should be known internationally in certain circles (music students, anime/game fans, etc.)

• Purely instrumental, no lyrics

I’ve gone through many suggestions (Chopin, Einaudi, Yiruma, Joe Hisaishi, game OSTs…) and nothing matched so far. Any idea would be hugely appreciated!

As far as I remember, intro looks like this : notes

Hey everyone,

I just got accepted to SMU in Singapore for an Erasmus exchange and I’m genuinely torn about whether it’s worth it. I’m currently studying in Europe and I’m targeting a career in asset management after graduation.

A few things I’m wondering:

•	Did going to SMU actually make a difference on your CV when applying to finance/AM roles in Europe?

•	Is Singapore’s finance scene relevant exposure for European recruiters, or does it not really translate?

•	How was the academic quality compared to your home uni? Was it challenging or more of a “holiday with classes” vibe?

•	Any networking opportunities that actually led somewhere?

•	Overall : do you regret it or would you do it again?

I know Erasmus is also about the experience, but honestly I want to make sure it’s not just a fun semester that doesn’t move the needle career-wise. Would love to hear from people who’ve been there, especially those in finance.

Thanks!
