In my ongoing search for what happened to Harold E. Ralph (b 1876, NY,NY), today I found a newpaper article showing him convicted for fraud in Michigan - article in Detroit Free Press 1 Oct 1931. The article states he would be sentenced on 10/7-but I could find no subsequent article. (Corraboration is that 1930 census including all the correct family listed him as Real Estate Broker).

Does anyone have access to court records from Michigan? Judge was Donald van Zile.

He is clearly in all census' from 1900-1930, then he vanishes-no obit, no death record, no further census records.

When I'm searching in ancestry through a public tree for my subject person, the subject person may not show clearly within that public tree. If I then click on" find in tree " the subject person will show up in isolation but not in relation to anyone else within that public tree. How do I find that subject person within that public tree so I can find how it connects to my family?
