So excited! Cannot wait!

I currently do not own an iPad. I have an android tablet that I have had for a number of years(7ish) that works pretty well for what I use it for but is quite slow now.

I currently browse online, watch shows, read, and play a few games. I also use it a lot for tech— browsing PDFs and using apps to connect to sound boards and run playback cues and other tests.

I am debating getting the 7 or waiting till the 8 comes out hopefully this fall.

I would love to have an iPad mini before school starts this year for a few events at the beginning of the year, but I could get by with what I currently have.

I would prefer an OLED screen which the 8 is rumored to have as well as an upgraded chip, but I don't care a ton about the other specs.

I just want to make sure I am buying what will last the longest and I'll enjoy most, but am unsure if it is fully worth the wait till September or October for the 8.

As they both have perforated pages I was curious if anyone knew if the pages fell out of one faster than the other? I have used the Kraft plus long term(10ish months) but have only used the vintage short term. I am a little concerned about using the vintage long term.

Or if there are other FN with as good of paper?
