My Army NG contract ends in 1 year but my commissioning date is in 2 years, do I have to extend my NG contract to meep commissioning date?

I heard a friend who said I’ll have to extend my army ng contract because there cant be a gap between contract end vs comissioning date, is that true? Can’t i just let the contract end focus on ROTC fully?

(Havent contracted with rotc yet)

Undisclosed medical issues, what happens if I disclose prior to shipping?

I’m not blaming my recruiter, she is amazing, I know she just is helping me out.

I went with exactly what my recruiter told me to do (she knew all my medical history,), she sent the medical history empty and said “dont deny anything they see and ask, but do not volunteer any information they dont see on your history”

I passed and swore in (National Guard), but doc didnt see an issue that’d require a waiver. Now seeing advice here I realized I should’ve insist on disclosing everything. I went ahead and talk to my recruiter & supervisor that I would like to be honest to MEPS prior to shipping. They said the following;

We can disclose it but you’ll most likely get a Uncharacterized/ELS discharge with fraudulent enlistment notes on it, maybe even other than honorable, they will not let you appy for a waiver under your current contract , you’ll get discharged and have to re enlist in 6 months but that might not even possible due to fradulent enlistment notes

And their final advice was to ship without disclosing the past issue because there is no way to disclose this without getting discharged as errenous in best case, fraudulent most likely. And “bootcamp wont see anything MEPS didnt”

Not sure what to do at all, I know I’m responsible at the end of the day I swore everything was correct. Any advice highly appreciated! Thank you

My ship date is in approximately 7 months
