i always found difficult to believe in this stuff, but here’s my personal ghost story

i was yanked from my bed when i was 20. this was in Mexico at my grandmother’s ranch (vacation). i was going through a difficult time during this period of my life and was praying to god that night. (like really bad).

all i remember was praying hard and really doing my best to talk to god, since I was not a very true believer. but after praying, i felt the most insane sense of peace i’ve ever felt in my life. and felt like god had heard and touched me.

i then proceeded to have the most horrible nightmare i’ve ever had. i was with my family in my grandma’s kitchen. stepped out to hit my vape. it was pitch black outside. then as i looked back towards the door, it started moving farther and farther out of reach and then all i could see were spiders. spiders and their webs surrounding me. i yelled for my uncles to help me.

and then swoop. ended up on my ass at the foot of the bed. impossible for me to have jumped that distance, not to mention getting over the railing at the end of it.

my sister’s bf at the time was laying next to me since we were sharing the bed. i remember i yelled when i got pulled and then my mom or younger sister turned on the lights to the room (they were sleeping in the second bed).

didn’t think much of it and then went back to bed. i then turned to see my sister’s bf’s face completely pale and terrified. he then proceeded to refuse to sleep next to me. since he felt me being yanked off. he moved onto the second bed and repeatedly said he couldn’t sleep here.

i believe i did reach god. and some evil entity did that out of anger. mind you, my grandparents live in the remote mountains of Mexico. also, i did initially refuse to believe that what had happened actually happened. i told myself i must’ve slept walk or something. but i knew, and he was confirmation.

fyi: i was raised catholic and believed for some time in my younger years. then as i approached high school/college age, i became more agnostic then atheist. but i did try to find a way to get closer. doing research, etc. TO this day i don’t know if i do still 😂 even though that’s unexplainable. mind you i was and still am 5’10 250lbs. but deep down it’s undeniable and i am terrified of a real demon/evil entity meeting me again

Those of us who read 1984 in High School are part of a CIA experiment control group.

(Speculation) Anyone else had it in their curriculum?

Today is the day, or so I thought. Every day for the last 4 months. And today is no different, but I really *feel* it.

My overhead dashboard is going through it’s final final, final final final final, final walkthrough pass today.

Granted—I am still waiting on a new infrastructure concept run I’m building natively into my hermes agent.

But I truly think it’s the final piece. Artifacts manifest infrastructure built into it natively. It already is, at least for my level of expertise, the most Apex a runtime can get. No other can touch it. Never forgets. Is never wrong. Native compression is actually archived, since it does nothing to it. The limiter is I, and this allows me to never lose or miss a thing ever again.

Wish me luck. Oh and I’m an electrical contractor. And the dashboard is, at least to me, quite gnarly. Got a whole accounting ledger. It does job/project costing analysis. Serves as my database. Does every single thing for me. And every single action is also manually operable.

It tracks my leads from every source in here. Has a financial job costing calendar that doubles as a decisions and visual of the entire health of my business. It even creates my clients and contact of said client at the same time, lol. So much.

Got a feeling I should’ve shipped a long time ago instead of building so much complexity. It took my ideas and designed each aspect to the highest degree. I should’ve shipped as soon as it did all I needed instead of running circles inside a black hole. I mean it even, for some reason, does materials p/l analysis of in stock materials vs online stock. And parses me an orders list for everything on schedule ahead of time. Maximum savings on materials, which it tracks profit margins of too. (Hedges negotiation).

Jesus. Why. Don’t even know if I’ll ever utilize it’s true capacity before I hire some manager for this business and shift onto some new endeavor. Only hope is I can somehow take this infrastructure everywhere else.

Still got one final walkthrough phase to go though. Lmfao

Edit: Oh and it knows the entire NEC. Or can at least find any code very easily via scripting. It can create blueprints. Single line diagrams. Panel schedules. Load calculations. Letters of intent or scopes of work. It even tracks compliance. Where am I registered. Permits applications. COIs for what municipalities exist. Etc.

“in-source build.” - my painful revelation

tldr: i fucked myself out of so much time. also. anyone know any other neat tricks so your hermes agent is compression proof and never loses context too? i’m willing to share whatever usefulness my “apex” hermes build can provide. any beginners like me, i can save u some stress.

I’m about to finish a project I’ve been working on for 3 months today. Literally am at the final sprint—when it just dawns on me.

Wouldn’t it have been way easier to build outside of the repo, then fill it in? Rather than building everything and anything inside it? All it did was earn the incessant whining of my agents about how dirty everything is.

It even became a thing for me to remind them. Hey guys! Just remember, ‘dirty’ more than likely means something we missed, didn’t finish, or need but haven’t started to wire it in. :)

I almost had it a month ago. Migrated everything cleanly into a new repo. Left the junk back home. To guess what—muddy it up.. all over again. :(

If anyone reads this and is any bit curious. I couldn’t write you a single line of code before 3 months ago. Still can’t other than some terminal commands. I am a bit nifty with excel though, hehe 🥲.

Price to pay of a no code “dev” lmfao. Aye it’s insane what I’ve been able to build at least. An entire overhead dashboard for my electrical contracting business. I am one of the laborers, and all the overhead of a 6 man team. Jesus I wonder what the rest of you must be up to. I could sell this to other electrical contracting businesses in a jiffy.

Its bread and butter is a job costing financial calendar that projects the coming weeks/months while also acting as a decision dashboard. Not to mention it does some high level ass accounting for me. Shadow ledger that mimics the higher tier QBO plans and all its features. And so much more.

Anyway enough with the tangents. Can’t even migrate anymore. I’m at a cleanup phase of a final build execution plan. Easier to rummage through it all than migrate again.

If anyone is wondering. I’m running through two $200 gpt subscriptions + 1 $200 claude max subscription. Using codex cli and claude code agent cli. Whom at least built me an apex ass Hermes agent, lol. Compression who ? She’s got damn got photographic memory too seemingly. And yeah i run them fuckers up too. Can’t wait to get a maxed out mac studio. Currently host a local evidence/continuity router ‘militia’ on a macbook m4 pro. Can’t imagine a studio.
