What's been happening with Prolific lately?

I used to receive interesting surveys and projects from universities and things like that, not every day, but by the end of the month I'd completed quite a few. Now they're only sending tasks to conduct interviews with an AI, where you have to record yourself in person, with your camera and microphone enabled... Is anyone else experiencing this?

What is the best way to make money online with no experience and without investing any money?

Hi everyone,
I recently signed up as a new user on Scrambly to try out this GPT site, but I noticed in their terms that in order to withdraw your earnings they require you to submit copies of your ID and even take a selfie.

Is this a joke? I’ve tried several similar GPT sites before and none of them have asked for this kind of verification.

Is this actually legal or normal practice? Has anyone here gone through this process?

Thanks in advance

Hi! I've read good reviews about Attapoll, but I'd like to hear firsthand opinions from people who are currently using it. Is it worth using? How much are you making per month with this app?

Earning money from Snapchat is very feasible today, but it’s not as straightforward as platforms like YouTube or blogs. Monetization typically depends on audience size, consistency, and how you leverage the platform’s features.

Snapchat Spotlight (Direct payouts)

One of the few built-in ways to earn directly is through Snapchat Spotlight. This feature rewards creators whose short videos perform well in terms of views and engagement. There’s no fixed payment model; instead, payouts depend on how viral and engaging your content becomes.

To succeed, creators typically focus on highly shareable formats such as humor, trends, curiosities, or quick tips. The more engaging and widely viewed your content is, the higher the chances of receiving a payout.

Creator monetization (Stories & ads)

Snapchat also allows certain creators to monetize their Stories. Once you meet the platform’s requirements, usually tied to audience size, consistency, and engagement, ads can be inserted between your stories, generating revenue.

This method is more stable than Spotlight but requires time and effort to build a loyal following. Regular posting and maintaining audience interest are essential to qualify and sustain earnings.

Affiliate marketing

For many users, affiliate marketing is the easiest entry point into monetization. Instead of relying on Snapchat to pay you directly, you promote third-party products and earn commissions for each sale generated through your links.

The key here is subtlety. Rather than aggressively selling, successful creators integrate recommendations naturally into their content, often using storytelling or personal experiences to build trust and drive conversions.

Sponsored content (brand deals)

As your audience grows, brands may approach you, or you can reach out to them, for paid collaborations. Sponsored content involves promoting a product or service through your snaps or stories in exchange for a fee.

Even creators with smaller but highly engaged audiences can benefit from this model, especially if they focus on a clear niche such as fitness, tech, or personal finance.

Selling your own products or services

Snapchat’s informal and personal nature makes it particularly effective for selling directly to your audience. Whether it’s digital products like courses and ebooks, freelance services, or physical items, the platform allows you to build trust through daily interaction.

Creators often use behind-the-scenes content, limited-time offers, and direct communication to drive sales, making the experience feel more authentic and less transactional.

Driving traffic to other platforms

Another powerful strategy is to use Snapchat as a traffic source. Instead of monetizing directly on the platform, you guide your audience toward other channels where revenue is easier to generate, such as blogs, YouTube channels, or online stores.

In this sense, Snapchat acts as a funnel: you capture attention and engagement, then redirect users to platforms with more established monetization systems.

Premium content and private audiences

Some creators choose to monetize exclusivity by offering access to private content. This can include premium Snapchat accounts or paid communities hosted on external platforms.

This approach works best when you’ve already built a strong connection with your audience and can offer content or value that justifies a paid model.

Content ideas that perform well

  • Quick hacks (money, tech, life tips)
  • Story-based content (daily life, journey)
  • Reactions and trends
  • Before/after transformations
  • “Did you know?” facts
