If two characters are adjacent, but in two different zones, are they in immediate range ? And if they take 1 step back, do they instantly go from immediate to medium range ? The zone system is pretty unique but sittuations like these create a bit of confusion that the books dont explain well
Just bought the core book, starter set and Voll adventures to run for my friends but there's genuinely no battle map content even though the book reffers to battling MULTIPLE times ? How do you guys do it ?

I've always had a kind of dislike of MMORPGs because they seem to have this complex where everything it baby easy for the first 90 hours and that playing with a homie makes no sense, but this game seems pretty hardcore from what I've seen and read. Should I try this game out if my plan is to party up with a homie and play together ?
