How much travel do you do per video?

Curious what others ratio of travel time to video is. Depends on where youre visiting and what is happening, but Id say generally it takes me about 4-7 days of travelling to get enough to make a video as a beginner.

What do you use for music for your videos?

I have been using youtube studio library but honestly don't find it that great. Do you use another site? Do you think perhaps may be worth it to just use popular music up until the point of monetization

Would you delete a video with a lot of negative comments or is all engagement good engagement

Posted a video recently where all the comments are negative in some way. One is fair enough, but the rest all are along the lines of accusing me of misinformation (which is strange, as these are my experiences and things backed up by research on google... i.e. saying needing unfolded bills if you want to exchange USD for local currency or likely being refused by exchanges in some countries)

This is my most commented on and also most viewed video so far and I'm definitely keeping it up, but just curious what you guys would do or have done if this happened to you

Your experiences of both getting onto/not getting onto specialties at a late PGY year?

PGY6 unaccredited surg reg. After having my 7th interview and rejection recently for an AP job, I am starting to think it might be time to give up. Got one last try in me for the usual in cycle programs for next year (will apply everywhere, dont care re location) but if I don't get in I don't see my chances improving. With Path apparently being one of the least competitive specialties, I dont see myself having a chance at anything else starting from building a specific CV for another specialty from 0. I dont see why hospitals would want to keep an unaccredited surg reg employed at such a high PGY (they also know I dont want to do surg long term at my current work place) when they can give the job to someone more junior so feel like may be the end for medicine in general for me.

Am I thinking straight or is there potentially still hope and I should not give up? Looking for stories for people who got on despite being quite senior or even those who didnt make it and what you ended up doing

Interested to see others as I was surprised to see mine. Still relatively early on but my least viewed was in Shirakawago Japan and most viewed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Was surprised as I thought the Japan video was better and more interesting but I am realizing I have no idea what will do well or not when I release a video

How about you guys?
