Recently had a huge slab patio removed that was up against the house. I was in the basement and noticed these cracks, right where the patio was. Has anyone heard of construction and vibrations n doing something like this? There are no cracks on the exterior, just the interior. These are the only cracks in the basement. The largest section of the crack is 1/8” wide.

I checked the exterior for impact of a bobcat but it’s clean nothing hit it. I’m wondering if removing that slab that was pressing against the block for 50
Years made the dirt shit. Most of this crack is above grade too.

These could have been here for a while but I feel like I would have noticed this. No cracks upstairs on the walls/ceilings and windows/doors are plum.

Structural engineer will be called, just wanted to spitball some ideas
