Took this photo recently, why is this bird all gray

The bird on the left is all gray and it was taken just like this. Is this a weird camera thing or are can gulls just be gray? (To be more specific the feet and beak)

First time seeing one in the wild

This is a juvenile Turkey Vulture that I found today at my local gardens. It was really cool to see and get a few pictures.

My first attempt at bird photography

I’m also new to identifying birds so with the aid of an app and a bird book I identified the first as a female blackbird and the second is a Rock Pipit.

The blackbird was taken at sunset and I wanted to capture the bird half in the shadow and half in the golden glow.

I’m quite pleased with my first attempt but I know there is always room for improvement.

Taken with a Canon 70D and Canon L-Series 100-400m.

Sooty Terns at Dry Tortugas

Tens of thousands of Sooty Terns visit the island off the coast of Florida to have their babies each year. The colony was noisy and busy, and it was quite wonderful seeing so many feathered families.

An eagle

Sorry for low ress quality, I recovered it. I did it on my Nikon d7100 with 55-300mm lens. Photo was almost 230% cropped.
